InterQ General Meeting

October, 2021

The M12 General meeting of InterQ project was held on the 19 and 20th of October in Zamudio (Bizkaia, Spain). The University of the Basque Country (UPV) welcomed a total of 45 attendees at their facilities at the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (CFAA). As InterQ project born in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, this has been the first opportunity for partners to meet in person and discuss project issues face to face.

The CFAA is a mixed research center within the University of the Basque Country and a consortium of companies led by ITP, also partner of InterQ project, and its aim is to work towards final applications and to generate new know-how in advanced manufacturing technologies.

Prof. Luis Norberto López de Lacalle and the rest of the team from the UPV made a great job in the organization of the event, providing a great interaction environment and even presenting their installations, including a showcase with different developments of the project and a demonstration at the broaching machine, that is one of the key elements of the project.

The overall status of the project, as well as detailed presentations of the 9 WPs, were provided in different sessions chaired by Jokin Muñoa, Project Coordinator.

The face-to-face format allowed interaction among the involved partners. InterQ project is running as expected and next steps will focus in presenting interesting results at the mid-term review that will be celebrated on April 2022.
